- A woman was found dead outside the Rosslyn Metro entrance Sunday afternoon. Police and fire crews responded to a reported cardiac arrest around 2:54 p.m. on N. Moore Street and found an unresponsive adult female, who was pronounced dead. ACPD says the death does not appear suspicious and poses no ongoing threat. ARLnow
- A driver struck a man on an e-scooter at Wilson Blvd and N. George Mason Drive Sunday afternoon. A witness says the red sedan sent the man flying before he landed near the bike lane; he went to the VHC trauma center. It was the second person struck along Wilson Blvd in Bluemont in under a week. The driver remained on scene and has not been charged. ARLnow
- Traffic cameras caught two fights spilling out of Arlington bars over the weekend. The first, outside Ricky's Pub and Grill on N. Glebe Road, ran more than four minutes and sent one man to the hospital. In the second, near a Clarendon bar around 2 a.m., a man allegedly struck an officer working nightlife detail. ARLnow

- Loudoun will host two September open houses on data center rules. The events, both from 6 to 8:30 p.m., land Sept. 28 at Broad Run High School and Sept. 30 at the Douglass Community Center in Leesburg. They cover phase two of a project that already stripped by-right data center development from the county last year. Loudoun County
- Rep. Don Beyer blasted Trump's escalating trade war with Canada. Trump threatened a 50% tariff on Canadian autos, auto parts and steel, days after the U.S. levied 50% tariffs on about $20 billion in Canadian goods. - We Are CASA plans an 11,000-square-foot community center in Annandale. The immigrant advocacy nonprofit wants the Little River Turnpike site to host workforce training, youth programs and legal clinics. - Taco Bell wants a new drive-thru near Routes 28 and 29 in Centreville. Plans filed with Fairfax County call for a 2,800-square-foot restaurant with two drive-thru lanes and a fenced 10-seat patio at 5866 Old Centreville Road. - A Korean pot rice restaurant is taking over the old Tippy's Taco House in Centreville. Dam-Sot, specializing in sot bap dishes like steak and eel pot rice, will open in Centrewood Plaza.
