The Record Weekly: Honors and Happenings in Norwood

The Record Weekly

May 10, 2026

Welcome to this week's issue of The Record! 🌞

There is a lot happening this week in Norwood, including a very special teacher at the annual Teacher of the Year Awards Ceremony (congrats Colleen Reynolds! 🎉), and updates on local initiatives like the Planning Board approving a new Kia dealership at the former Sky Restaurant Location.

Also, the Norwood Trails Advisory Committee discussed a new initiative that could help put Norwood on the map — figuratively speaking — as members are looking to put together a trail structure building manual for other communities looking to expand access to their great outdoors, like Norwood has 🌳.

We also want to give a shoutout to Matt Brown and the Matt Brown Foundation for starting a new 5K fundraiser in Town on June 7 - mark your calendars!

Read on for more stories from Norwood!
