Hello, Gadfly fans,

It’s been a while since we’ve last talked, but I do hope that you aren’t angry at us. This issue is a radical shift from our typical satire—since it’s serious.

It’s 41 pages, and a bit over 15,000 words (and probably represents at least a hundred man-hours of time). To be fair, there’s only 22 pages of content, and 19 pages of citations, so idk. We cover everything from OSAP cuts, to Iranian theocracies, to California state legislature.

We are going to return to satire next issue, since, to be honest, I simply can’t stand citations. Writing seriously is also boring & easy, so there’s that too, but citations are literally the devil.
