The Flyer is a monthly neighborhood newsletter for Bushrod / North Oakland – physically as a zine posted around the neighborhood, and online at www.theflyer.org. It’s a love letter to the place we live in and a way to highlight the people, plants, and stories that make this place special. At a time when everything seems to pull us into nuclear homes and personalized feeds, The Flyer celebrates the simple (but important!) life that we create together.
