Welcome to another issue of The Book Club Was Better newsletter!

how it works

We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month at 7pm to discuss a book and its adaptation.

Because there is a big author event happening on the same night (again), we will be meeting in BookPeople’s first floor conference room.

You get a 10% discount for buying the book at BookPeople, so let your cashier know it's for the book club.

current meeting

October 12 (tomorrow!): Frankenstein

You still have time!
1931 movie (only 70 minutes long)
1831 text (just skim it, you probably remember enough from high school)

next meeting

November 9: Practical Magic

We probably could have timed this better with Practical Magic 2 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
