Edgar Cayce's letter recommending Epsom Salt Baths
Magnesium is one of the alkaline minerals that's important for human health. Calcium signals muscles to contract, while magnesium signals muscles to relax. Magnesium is a significant percentage of chlorophyll in plants, and is an important cofactor in hundreds of the different chemical reactions that scientists have described in our bodies' physiological processes:

Modern foods have less magnesium than in years past because industrial farmland has been depleted of Calcium, Magnesium and the trace minerals. (Industrial farmers only fertilize with Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium).
Epsom salt - a magnesium sulfate salt, MgSO4·7H2O - was first described in the western world in 1806. These natural magnesium salts were found near Epsom, Surrey, England.
Epsom Salts were commonly used in the Cayce readings: usually as salt packs, but also as baths.
This morning I found a letter from Edgar Cayce in the reports of Reading #272-5, where Cayce recommended someone take a weekly epsom salt bath:
From experience where such a treatment has been given (though I don't believe this has been suggested for you in a reading), I believe it would be well for you to take a very hot Epsom Salts bath about once a week - putting ten to fifteen minutes' time sitting in a tub of hot water, to which there has been added about two pounds of Epsom Salts. No doubt this will make you feel weak; consequently, I would suggest that you take it just before retiring. The idea is to give the reaction throughout your whole system and make for a general cleansing. Once a week or twice a month should be sufficient. When taking this, you will no doubt notice the Atomidine that is being absorbed in your system, by the tendency for the perspiration to discolor towels as you sponge off. Here are two pages from the A.R.E about epsom salts:
Therapies: Epsom Salts Baths | Edgar Cayce's A.R.E.
Edgar Cayce Health Database Therapies: Epsom Salts Baths - Epsom salts baths were often recommended for persons suffering from muscular and joint conditions such as rheumatism and arthritis. Although the therapeutic suggestions sometimes varied for individuals depending upon the severity of the condition, here are some general guidelines for using Epsom salts baths.
Therapies: Epsom Salts Packs | Edgar Cayce's A.R.E.
Edgar Cayce Health Database Therapies: Epsom Salts Packs -The Edgar Cayce readings recommended a variety of packs to relieve pain, improve eliminations, and produce relaxation in the body. Epsom salts packs were often recommended for symptomatic relief of abdominal or lower back pain.
Donna Eden, author of Energy Medicine, recommends both baking soda baths and epsom salt baths for cleaning the aura.
An interesting fellow mentioned in a radio interview that adding baking soda to an epsom salt bath allows the skin absorb magnesium from the water.
I think 2-4 pounds of epsom salts, and 4-8 ounces of baking soda, is a reasonable ratio for a standard small bath tub. If you don't have a tub, take a hot shower, then turn off the water. Rub the baking soda into your skin first, then rub the epsom salts on. You might need a sprayer bottle with warm/hot water to sufficiently moisten the salts.
Magnesium Chloride is another form of topical magnesium supplement. This is sold as "Magnesium oil" when it's fully hydrated with water, though there is no oil in the MgCl/Water mixtures. I don't know that Cayce recommended Magnesium Chloride in the readings, probably because this was not commonly available at the time.
Do you use epsom salts? Baking soda? Magnesium Chloride ("Magnesium oil")? What do you notice?

P.S. I've almost finished the latest batch of my Radial Appliances. These are in plastic water bottles. I'm working on copper cases - hopefully these will be finished soon.
