To summarize: animal milk products, eggs and some kinds of seafood are reliable food sources of iodine. Most people would probably benefit from adding a little kelp to their food, or taking an iodine supplement.
With that said, consuming too much supplemental iodine is very problematic. The classic iodine supplement has 2 to 6 times as much iodine in a single drop as the Japanese get in their daily seafood-rich diet. Excess iodine causes thyroid problems. Click the link above for details.
In other news, my Electric Iodine supplement is back in stock. This is my version of the electrically-treated iodine supplement that Edgar Cayce helped refine in the Readings.
Each drop has 200 micrograms of iodine dissolved in ethyl alcohol. A single drop is a safe start to iodine supplementation for those who are currently iodine-deficient.
Question: do you pay attention to your iodine intake? If so, how do you make sure you're getting enough?
