Edgar Cayce on Electric Massagers
Hi Friends,
A larger version of my 'Cayce Grounding coin' is now available. If you don't need to know anything about Cayce's advice for using electric massagers, just skip to the bottom.
I have a new friend who was in a series of car accidents. She went to modern bone-setters for help with chronic neck pain. While initially she seemed to benefit from their treatments, after a certain point she was just a repeat customer. The 'neck adjustment' that left her neck more uncomfortable than it was before motivated her to try out the physical therapist I recommended, even though the cost was significantly more than the "copay" for the back fitness franchise that billed her insurance.
For the most part, manual treatments should be more than just popping bones back into place, as there is usually a reason why the bones aren't where they should be.
I have a couple practitioners in Arizona that I rely on for myself. At the first visit with the physical therapist, a restriction in her diaphragm was found and released. After the appointment she able to breathe for the first time since the car accident 6-7 months ago. Previously she'd complained to her medical doctors about not being able to breathe, and was offered anxiety pills.
A manual therapy intervention that's become easier and cheaper to implement in the modern world is the availability of electric vibrating massagers. Cayce would recommend these to balance the nervous system:
8. In the evenings also before retiring, the use of the electrically driven vibrator along the whole cerebro-spinal system will be found to be helpful; for this will enable all centers along the cerebro-spinal system to receive a greater impulse from their activity, enabling all organs to be stimulated without the excess of one's functioning so much under the strain of the tautness of another. Especially would this be helpful, that those centers in the upper dorsal and cervical area receive stimulation; also across the lower portion of the body, or the lumbar area.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Which applicator of the vibrator should be used?
(A) The cup or suction.

The old Wahl electric massagers had a variety of attachments, one of which was a sort of suction cup. See the picture below.
5. We would find the conditions would be very much improved by the use of the electrically driven vibrator also, over the whole of the cerebrospinal system; extending especially to the lower limbs and making rather specific applications across the lumbar, the 9th dorsal and through the head and neck.
11. (Q) What can be done to relieve terrible headaches all along?
(A) These arise as much from the digestive forces as from any other thing, and as we find with the change of the diet and the use of the vibrator as indicated, electrically driven, you see - using the cup, especially above the diaphragm area or throughout the whole the cup would be better (the cup applicator, you see), or as to produce a percussion or suction or drawing - given just before retiring - these would make for the inclinations for the body to rest better, and relieve the headaches.

This picture is a collection of electric massagers:
The one on the far-left is a classic Wahl massager with the suction cup attachment. I found it at a yard sale years ago, for maybe $10. The others are my friend's collection, mostly for use on her neck. The three in the middle have rechargeable batteries. The one on the far right is sold for "cellulite", and is quite nice to use on the back and legs.
Do you use an electric massager on yourself? What kind do you have?
New Larger Cayce Grounding Coin now available
My previous batch of grounding coins sold out last summer, after someone on YouTube posted a video about them. This time I decided to make a batch of 1.5-inch coins. These have about as much steel as two of the 'classic' 1-inch coins:
Large Cayce 'Cold' Grounding Coin (1.5-inch diameter) - Edgar Cayce's Radial Appliance
Edgar Cayce recommended carrying a piece of steel to prevent colds. It helps by helping improve the body's energetic connection to the earth.

A previous email told about how I know my version of Cayce's grounding coin can sometimes have dramatic effects: A practical example of using Cayce's steel for grounding
Simple energetic interventions can sometimes help any kind of body work be more effective. For example, sometimes people have childhood trauma that gets stored in their body. Energetic interventions release the stored emotional imprint, and allow the physical interventions to work better.
