Cayce's interventions for 'mental illness'
Hi Friends,
Edgar Cayce covered most of the various health problems people have. Sometimes the wording he used was a little different than what we might say today.
"Mental Illness" is a commonly used modern term, but it's not very useful: the causes of these symptoms are more than just 'mental'. The tragedy of monopoly-medicine's approach to "mental illness" is how doctors diagnosis their patient, but don't often look for the causes behind their patient's symptomatic presentation.
Sometimes people are labeled as being schizophrenic: "Schizophrenia is a mental disorder characterized by continuous or relapsing episodes of psychosis. Major symptoms include hallucinations (typically hearing voices), delusions, and disorganized thinking."
Cayce talked about Schizophrenia, but he used other terms. In The Treatment of Schizophrenia: A Holistic Approach (pdf), David McMillin translates the Cayce readings into modern lingo. There's a nice introduction to the Cayce material on page 45.
Mr. McMillin has written several other books based on the Cayce readings. These are now available on his website: https://mcmillinmedia.com/texts.html
I have a friend who is cursed by doctors with various non-helpful 'mental health' diagnoses. One of these was "schizophrenia", but mostly she gets labeled as "psychotic unspecified". I have the affidavits that were filed against her in September 2015: 'patient expects us to believe she was psychotic because she was drinking 2 bottles of liquor a day.' [This is the idiocy that passes for the 'standard of care' in allopathic mental health medicine. In the real world, alcohol withdrawal and substance abuse (stimulants, etc) are known causes of substance-associated psychosis.]
In the Cayce philosophy, we are physical, mental and spiritual beings. All three aspects are inter-connected.
As is understood by the body, there is the physical, the mental, the spiritual. All are one, but with their attributes have their activity through the one or the individual entity or body. The spiritual arises from the centers in the . . . glandular forces that are as hidden energies, or the very nature of the creative or reproductive forces.
There are the abilities of each center, each gland, each atom to reproduce itself within the body—which is the very nature of glandular reaction.

Inadequate diets, stored physical injuries, and chronic emotional and energetic stresses are the main causes behind 'mental' symptoms. Worry, fear and other emotions really do drain our capacity to deal with life.
Something I noticed when I was trying to figure out my friend was how she had a slight list ('tilt to one side'). She'd had a bunch of massages in the 10+ years before we met, but those massages didn't release the injury she'd stored in her connective tissue in a car accident around 8 years of age. Around July 2015 I took her to my hands-on healer, and her list was gone after her first visit. She was ready to quit all her self-medication strategies by late August 2015, but she ran out of alcohol and got captured by the mental health industry in September 2015.
Another friend's father fell out of a tree when she was 5 or 8 years old. His acute injuries healed, but he got diagnosed with a chronic 'mental health' condition. The forced medications didn't fix the trauma stored in his connective tissue. [There's a spiritual aspect to these conditions too, but I don't know what he was supposed to learn from this lifetime.]
When Cayce talked about 'glands', eastern texts would've talked about 'chakras'. Each of the chakras is associated with a specific gland. Sometimes people who have trouble telling the difference between what's real and what's imagined do not have good communication between their glands/chakras. Children whose glands get disconnected have an especially tough time at figuring out what's real, even after they grow up.

P.S. When I first met my friend, after 45 minutes of listening to her lightly-jointed stream of thoughts I realized she was figuratively 'high as a kite'. I gave her one of my grounding coins. She instantly felt the effect - her voice changed and she clearly asked, "WHAT IS THIS?" I told how the coins help improve the body's energetic connection to the earth. The people who most need to improve their grounding are the ones who are most likely to notice the steel's effect.
I found a few coins recently... They are listed on my facebook store. Or you can email me, and I'll let you know what I have. (Update: new larger 1.5" grounding coins are also available.)
The pendants are made of the same type of metal. Each pendant has more steel than one coin but less than two. I think the pendants are easier to keep track of. The pendants are on both my Facebook shop and radialappliance.teslabox.com/product-category/cayce-grounding-coin/
If you're counting your pennies, you can improve your grounding by using a stainless steel spoon on the bottoms of your bare feet, and by looking for a piece of rebar to carry in your pocket. I don't know how to tell what kind of steel is in the rebar you'll find.
