A practical example of using Cayce's steel for grounding
One of Edgar Cayce’s oft-repeated mantras was “Spirit is the life, mind is the builder, physical is the result.”
Around 2009 “someone” decided they were going to channel Edgar Cayce for me. I protested, “no, leave Edgar Cayce alone!”, but she insisted. One of the things channeled-Cayce told me was that I was to meditate on “Doing God’s Work”.
In 2015 I had a job where I met a lot of people. I always took a little extra time, as needed, to connect with people who were having a rough day. One of the more memorable people from this job was very … ‘chatty’. After 45 minutes I realized she was certainly ‘ungrounded’. I had a few of my grounding coins on me, so I dug one out: “I have these made for me in Prescott Valley, and I’d like to give this to you.” (Cayce’s steel coins are also on my facebook shop
She accepted the coin. Her voice changed (becoming more centered), and she asked, “What is this?”
“It helps improve the body’s energetic connection to the earth. It’s based on the Edgar Cayce material.”
It seems like we were ‘destined’ to meet. She latched on to me like a life preserver. After six months I thought she was doing quite well. Then she ran out of alcohol, became psychotic, and got captured by the mental health industry. I’m sort of furious about the incompetence of our mental health industry. My 6th petition to the U.S. Supreme Court was sent on Thursday. The justices don’t want to deal with me. This latest petition is about “Medical Freedom” and “Medical Violence”. (You don’t get to just file in the U.S. Supreme Court, you have to go through all the lower courts first.)
(Ingo Swann’s book Psychic Renaissance discusses the difference between Fate and Destiny. Swann was an artist, whose painting “The Edgar Cayce Aura Chart” was displayed on the ARE’s 2nd floor, or it might be on loan to The American Visionary Art Museum.)
There was only one reading that discussed carrying carbon steel:
“Do not take this as being something of superstition, or as something that would be a good luck charm, – but if the entity will wear about its person, or in its pocket, a metal that is carbon steel – preferably in the groin pocket – it will prevent, it will ionize the body– from its very vibrations – to resist cold, congestion, and those inclinations for disturbance with the mucous membranes of the throat and nasal passages.”
– Edgar Cayce Reading #1842-1
Most of the readings about using carbon steel to harmonize the body’s energy system were the Radio-Active Appliance (later re-named the Radial Appliance, as the Appliance is NOT ‘radioactive’). [Cayce’s instructions for using the Appliance specifically said to not use this with any alcohol in the body.]
The energy-test to figure out if someone’s ungrounded is to slap them (lightly) on the feet, then use an energy (muscle) test. If they’re well-grounded the muscle will stay strong. If they’re not well-grounded the muscle will momentarily weaken. I learned this from Donna Eden’s material.
Donna Eden didn’t realize until she was in her early 20’s that other people didn’t see energy like she did. She didn’t understand how people could function without this ability. She later took Touch for Health classes. This system uses “muscle testing” to determine, in a sorta-objective manner, the status of an individual’s various energy systems. When Donna had a private practice, she used energy testing to convince her clients of what she ‘saw’ energetically: test showing weakness -> correction -> test showing strength. Donna’s books and other materials nicely complement the Cayce material.
Donna’s techniques for grounding include walking barefoot on grass, and using a steel spoon on the bottoms of your bare feet. She also recommends using a steel fork on the tops of the feet, to clear stagnant energy on the ‘gaits’ (between the bones - ‘metatarsals’).
Donna Eden’s friend told me that sometimes people who are exposed to drugs before puberty have chakras that are disconnected. This impairs energetic communication. One effect is that this causes people to have a hard time telling the difference between physical reality and their own mental constructs.
Substance abuse is fundamentally about problems of mind and spirit, not the body’s physical dependence. After the mental/spiritual imbalances are addressed, physical addictions are easy to treat. Sometimes all a person needs to help with their alcoholism is a little coconut oil to feed their brain’s ‘alcohol’ craving (alcoholic brains are insulin resistant and can’t get sugar into the brain cells) or a little pregnenolone (steroid precursor, to calm their brain).
The anti-opiate drugs naltrexone and naloxone are modern tools that help with alcoholism. I have another friend who told of her experience using Naltrexone soon after it was approved for alcoholism. She could have a beer, and half of a second beer, but she just couldn’t finish the second beer. She drank to make her emotional problems go away: it was easier to quit the naltrexone than the alcohol.
I’m almost out of the coins – this is why they’re only on my facebook store at the moment. I think my grounding pendants are better – they don’t walk off so easily, and they have more steel than one coin. I’ve gotten emails from people reporting that they find pieces of rebar or their grandfather’s old pocket knives to work too. This week I think I’m going to launch a crowdfunding campaign, to help me get the word out about what really happens in our ‘mental health’ industry, which actually has nothing to do with health.
Edgar Cayce’s readings provide a solid foundation for anyone to improve their life experience. Some of Cayce’s wording and concepts are a little hard to understand - one of my goals is to provide insights into how to apply the Readings in our modern world.
