Two Terrific Books
Hello, Hungry Readers,
I had some day job stuff change recently which switched up my reading and I think I’m starting to get back into the rhythm of it all.
Bookshop links included.
I had read and enjoyed Shawntelle Madison’s paranormal romance, so was interested to learn she was now writing historical time travel fantasy. The Fallen Fruit is a multi-generational time travel novel. It gets into the details, not in how time travel works, so much as if your family discovers they time travel, how do you plan for that? It was a really fascinating tale.
Make the Season Bright by Ashley Herring Blake is a title that’s a pun. (I love a pun.) It’s a second chance forced proximity snowed in with one bed and some fake flirting. Basically two sisters bring home their friends to their small town which does a Christmas themed multi-day singles mixer. And two exes discover they are the two sisters besties, and shenanigans ensue. It’s silly and heart wrenching and heartwarming.
Hope you are finding time to read as the days speed by.
