Two Terrific Books

Hello, Hungry Readers,

I don’t know about you, but I really felt like June was a lot.

But thank goodness for books to take us to other places.

Ruined by Sarah Vaughn, Sarah Winifred Searle, and Niki Smith is a graphic novel historical romance about a marriage of convenience where they maybe oops, fall in love.

Dragonfruit by Makiia Lucier is a Pacific Islandish set historical fantasy in a time of pirates and dragons and a girl who was saved by a dragonfruit (egg) is reunited with those she lost after the egg changed everything. It’s one of those stories I went into knowing almost nothing and it just swept me away.
