Two Terrific Books
Hey, Hungry Readers,
I'm deep into drafting a new story, but I still need to read, even when drafting. (I am absolutely no fun when I don't read. You can ask my friends.)
And you may have travel, or post food sleepy time coming up for you in the next week (or months) and might need a few books with you when you do this.
Bookshop links included.
I feel like telling you to read Elizabeth Acevedo's Family Lore, is a little like being like I dunno if you've heard of this award winning author, but spoiler alert, she's good. But, spoiler alert, she's good. I listened to the audio, but some of the sentences are so good, that I may grab a text copy to just linger over it too.
Faith Hicks' Hockey Girl Loves Drama Boy is the angsty tale of two teens trying to figure out how they want to be, and which relationships are serving them well.
Hope deliciousness and relaxation is ahead for you, one way or another this month. Let me know if you've read anything great.
