Two Terrific Books

I read Ashley R. King's Painting the Lines because there is tennis afoot and why not read about tennis. I confess as an author, the idea that I would make a character that's like myself and then follow someone and make a character like them is a little too close to the "research" people who find you write romance want to "help" you with, but also I did find this story of two people who were out to prove their glory days were not behind them - in both tennis and writing - enjoyable.
And I read Kimberly Lemming's That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon and found it funny and sexy. It does deal with false religions, and demon bigotry and slavery, so for a book that feels fluffy, it is also not afraid of touching on larger issues.
Have you read either of these?
