I still get excited about book sales. Look, I know you have a lot lot of sales emails in your inbox right now. And if you are trying to not shop, I get it. You can always request your library get my books.

But the delightful things about ebooks, if I may say so, is that they are for you, they don’t go bad, and if you read them on your phone at a family gathering or a bar or both, you can pretend they are a very important thing that your boss just sent you. It’s not even a lie, you are the boss of you, right? See? Also, um, if you know my family, or are my family, I have never ever done this at our gatherings.

The book on sale is Tricked by Love, featuring Lillian and Xavier who do the classic hookup before Lillian discovers he’s a bartender and therefore vows to never see him again because yeah, her younger brother’s a bartender, and the bartender circle in DC is too small. Funny story, it is that small, as Lillian discovers when her brother brings Xavier to Thanksgiving. Commence secret hooking up that is absolutely not going to lead to feelings. Except, spoiler, it does.
