Who’s Who in Superman Comics (Part 9)

“Ridiculous villains” edition! Featuring Toyman (who torments Superman with deadly toys), the Prankster (a.k.a. Joker-lite), and the “distinctly handsome” Mr. Mxyzptlk (a being of infinite powers who uses them in whimsical ways). It’s interesting to me that the Mxy profile is drawn by Jon Bogdanove, six years or so before he became the character’s definitive artist in the classic “Death of Mr. Mxyzptlk” (Man of Steel #75). Also, that panel where Mxy steals Superman’s pants isn’t from a real issue, but I’m not sure if that’s good or bad.
