SUPPORTERS ONLY: Superman: The OTHER Animated Series (Part 3)

Continuing our look at the cartoon that merged Post-Crisis Superman concepts with Silver Age Superman insanity, which somehow keeps getting sillier every episode. This time: Clark loves disco music! A dragon that shoots lasers! The animators are perverts!

Episode 3: "By the Skin of the Dragon's Teeth"

We start with a newspaper headline announcing that Lex Luthor has bought the Great Wall of China, which is huge news, because I don't think you CAN buy the Great Wall of China? That's like if someone bought Mount Rushmore or, I don't know, Dolly Parton. Luthor is planning excavate the hell out of the area around the Great Wall, so the Daily Planet sends their only two reporters and single photographer to cover the story. Unfortunately, they might miss their boat to the excavation site because Clark Kent decided he needed to "buy some new disco classics tapes" before the trip. To be fair, if you're in China, how could you pass up the opportunity to purchase some of their famous disco music cassettes? Stuff like "seeing the Great Wall" is secondary.
