SUPPORTERS ONLY: Superman 64: The Lost Levels (Part 1)
In 2020, the unthinkable happened. Something terrible was unleashed upon the world and caught us with our pants completely on the floor. I'm talking, of course, about the fact that someone released a sequel to Superman: The New Adventures for the Nintendo 64, better known as Superman 64, and even better known as "the most infuriatingly broken goddamn video game ever made." I am not joking. On December the 1st, 2020 (a date which will live in infamy), a prototype for a PlayStation 1 sequel for Superman 64 was posted to the internet via DeviantArt -- which is appropriate, because that site is already home to some of the most awful things ever conjured by the human imagination.
Although the game was set to be released in 2000, it was made in the '90s and is based on a '90s cartoon. So, as a '90s Superman scholar, I had no choice but to play through it. If you still doubt that this is a product of the '90s, please look at the CGI on the intro sequence embedded above.
