Okay, so we're at the point in the timeline where the awesome Kesel/Grummett Superboy series started, so let's talk about... the Superboy series before that, of course. Yes, I mean the spin-off for that weird live action Superboy show were they fired the main actor after one season and replaced him with a Christopher Reeve lookalike! (These recaps will be short so I don't take too much time away from the Tumblr.)

This issue is about Clark Kent and Lana Lang leaving Smallville to go to college in Siegelville, Florida, but not before Clark has to save Pete Ross from almost driving his car off a cliff while racing some girl. In fact, we find out that Clark has secretly been saving his friends' dumb asses for some time. I'm assuming they all died in a hot tub incident or something within one week of Clark leaving town.
