New '90s Superman Collections Announced!
The Collected Editions blog reports that two new '90s-centric Superman collections have been spotted on Amazon: one for the kick-ass Zero Hour crossover issues and one beginning to reprint that insane year when Superman turned into a bunch of electricity inside a tight spandex suit. I take full credit/responsibility for this unexpected '90s resurgence. (Not really, but it's interesting to note that this blog would be up to the Electric Superman era by now if I wasn't so damn slow.)
The Amazon links seem dead right now, but I trust Collected Editions more than my own mother (follow them on Twitter too!). Incidentally, while looking around Amazon I realized that I'd somehow missed the fact a Karl Kesel/Tom Grummett Superboy collection has already been announced, and DC is up to its fourth volume of Peter David's Supergirl. Poor Steel probably feels a little slighted…
(PS: We posted a new “Reign of the Supermen” entry the other day, if you missed it.)
