Metropolis Mailbag: Our Worlds At War?

I know this is slightly past your chronicling era, but do you know a good place to read about Our Worlds At War, like behind the scenes and what not? I feel like it should have been a bigger deal than it was, and I’m curious for insight about the event.
Hmm, all I can think is the From Crisis to Crisis Superman podcast, which will cover everything from 1985 to 2005, but they're still in the ‘90s. As for why people don't like to talk about it… well, I remember reading interviews at the time where Jeph Loeb or someone talked about being inspired by Pearl Harbor and WWII and feeling nostalgic for those distant tales of sacrifice and tragic heroism. Then 9/11 happened while they were publishing the comic and it was like, oh, right, living through a major historical event sucks. It was kind of like if DC had decided to publish a major crossover inspired by the Spanish Flu this year.
That unfortunate panel of the LexCorp tower didn't help, either.
Anyway, speaking of storylines, I'm gonna use this opportunity to announce a new section of this blog: the Index of Storylines! Want to read through our recently completed “Death of Superman” coverage in chronological order, or maybe relive classic plotlines like the Exile in Space or the one where Superman loses his memory and hooks up with a nudist cavewoman?
