What's your favorite Superman era after 86-99? Did you feel the Nu52 ruined the character?
1. I like stories from all eras, but I think 86-99 is the only one I enjoy consistently (or the one I enjoy MOST consistently, since I remember there being some turds in the final years). I do love all the silly stuff from the 50s and 60s, but I've probably read like 2% of those comics. So far…
2. Not really! I liked George Perez' brief run and I keep meaning to read the rest of Grant Morrison's Action Comics. After that I lost track of what was going on, so I can't really judge those comics. The thing is, before the New 52, I felt obligated to keep up with Superman because it was still (technically) the same character from “Death of Superman”, “Day of the Krypton Man”, the story where Superman and Barda make a porn tape, etc. Once they rebooted the continuity I lost interest pretty fast, but that probably has more to do with my own OCD than the actual quality of the comics.
Anyway, I'm out of Baldys for now. Have a mullet:
