Metropolis Mailbag: Death and Reign animated movies?

Hey Max and Don. Just found your site and I am really loving it! I'm curious if you've seen "The Death of Superman" and "The Reign of the Supermen" animated movies that DC put out and what you think of them. I enjoyed them both, particularly Death with all those easter eggs to the comic, like Luthor's disguise being his younger self.
Max speaking: I loved the Easter eggs, but I have gripes with those movies. Lots of gripes. But, since we did a post about the Death and Return of Superman game, maybe we should do a post about those movies too. Before that, though, check out what I just got in the mail…
So far I’ve only read the dust jacket, which mentions that Roger Stern also wrote the text for the Death of Superman trading cards and the Man of Steel RPG game source book. I’m gonna end up buying those too, aren’t I?
