Time can move like the body of an accordion: pressed, compacted, squeezed, until you pull it out, taking a great big breath of air, and you look at it and see how great and broad it is and think "surely not. Surely this is a trick." And yet it is so.

Pullo wound up with a bloody nose, which prompted a busy series of tests and exams and bills and a vague-yet-serious diagnosis, which prompted despair and panic and an astonishing outpouring of support. It would be easy enough to say that everyone loves Pullo (which is true), but the level of support, and the immediacy of it - the full-throated outpouring of help from old friends and new, of incredible generosity. The pup has been a champ all the way through, and seems to have weathered his treatment really well. We'll get an update in about a month. Fingers crossed.

• I have a new set of adventures for HEART out as of last week. LAST RITES is a trio of adventures for unlucky delvers that I've had cooking almost ever since ichor-drowned came out. I'm really really happy with this set of stuff - I think it reflects my sensibilities as a tabletop player really well, and it benefits from some incredible layout advice. It was also a chance to work with gryme, and it won't be the last. Her artwork truly brings the thing to life.

• I've been playing my legislator to great effect in CALAZCON and I'm excited for everyone to hear what a monster he (and everyone else) is. I think this gets released at the end of the year? Maybe? We'll see.

• And even better: my own podcast, OATHSWORN, has finally been announced and is coming out this week! July 11th, the first episode - the first of our two world-building episodes - begins. Oathsworn is an actual play of a Band of Blades campaign that my friends and I started recorded over the past couple of years, and I'm thrilled for everyone to get to hear what we got up to. • 📺 I've been on a big rewatch (and sometimes first-watch) of all things GUNDAM. I've just finished Adult Swim classic 0083: STARDUST MEMORY, which is much more uneven than I remember it, but still has a lot of cool robots.

• 📽️ New SPIDERVERSE delivered in a big way. Can't believe I have to wait for the conclusion.

• 🎮 There's a new FINAL FANTASY out, and it's the most Game of Thrones final fantasy that there's ever been. I mean this both as a compliment and as a pejorative.

• 🎲 We're mid-campaign with an Antarctic campaign of ARKHAM HORROR. I'm playing the oldest man in the entire world.

• 📚 I've finished the first installment of THE BOOK OF THE NEW SUN by Gene Wolfe. If I'd read this when I was 15, it would've been the most important book in the world.
