Covid Diary BCN

My blog is a diary of a gay American immigrant in Barcelona during the Covid-19 pandemic. I'm finishing a novel called Dear Mustafa which is set during the US AIDS crisis. As I was researching the book, I found books, films, and theater about AIDS, but no diaries of day-to-day life. I wanted to create that record for Covid-19.

I blogged each day for the first hundred days of the Covid outbreak in Barcelona to keep a record of how the pandemic progressed in Barcelona, Spain, the EU, the US, and the world. Now that the first wave passed and Covid-19 news isn't quite as fast and furious, I'm blogging once a week so I can spend more time on other writing projects.
