Reflection #60 Telling Our Story

Over the years
I have gathered
small fragments
of a lifetime.

Snapshots held,
moments remembered,
echoing still
finding their way home.

Every story
asks to be spoken,
to a trusted heart,
a listening ear.

To know
that it happened,
that it mattered,
that it was real.

Memory, gently
becomes mercy,
as what was hidden
finds its voice.

We hear it all,
heal what we can,
celebrate what remains,
and give thanks.

Then, at last,
we loosen our grip,
and let the stories
find their rest.
