Rwanda Dry Process Micro Lot 🇷🇼 + First Batch Peru 🇵🇪
Hello Sideyard Friends,
This week’s roast is a sourcing splurge that comes to us from the Tumba washing station in Rwanda. The lot consisted of just 15 60kg bags and the quality was as evident in the roaster as it is in the cup. It’s a natural process coffee with a flavor profile characteristic of the very best coffees out of Rwanda—spices like clove and cinnamon in both the aroma and cup, berry-toned sweetness, and tannic aspects in the aftertaste. We have five spares in stock.
The origin track for the week is My Wife is as Beautiful as a Sunset by the Good Ones.
Last week’s Peru turned out great—except for the first batch. Some beans are a little scorched, which will most definitely give it a darker profile, but it still has plenty of character left for fans of dark roast. There are four of these first batch 16oz bags, tagged at just $10 each.
Cheers,
Ryan
