First batch of writer reveals complete + Wild Blue redux

Hello, everyone.
It has been a lively first week of September at Scrub Jay HQ, as we’ve started to reveal the contributors from our forthcoming new anthology, Deep Vines: 60 Fresno Writers for the 21st Century.

We kicked off the writer reveals with all seven of the Fresno poets laureate! Here’s an alphabetical list of our book’s storytellers announced so far:

We will continue the writer reveals two per day throughout the month. And, for those folks not on Instagram, we will share a couple more email updates this month as we go, so stay tuned.
Anthology preorders open October 12. The book will be published March 5, 2027.
Revisit our latest zine, Wild Blue volume 3
In case you missed it, Scrub Jay released the latest installment of its literary zine, volume 3 of Wild Blue, this past April.
Edited by Marisa Mata, the zine includes new writing and art by Alice Daniel, Angelina Leaños, Beth Linder Carr, John Moses, Leslie Kay Quintana, Katrina Riggs, Tracy Stuntz, Kimberly Vargas Agnese, and Lisa M.C. Weston.
