Radio 101 - Clean edit means broadcast-legal, not bleeped A station cannot air explicit language between 6am and 10pm, which is when almost all of their listening happens. Clean means a version that is legal to play in daylight. A bleep works, an instrumental drop works, a re-record works. What does not work is sending the explicit master and hoping. At least 21 of the 145 accepting stations state a clean-edit or FCC rule on their own page. Why one state at a time A station serves a place. Reading a whole state's doors together shows the pattern: who wants a form, who wants a disc, who names a show, who favours locals. Your sheet already sorts to your state; this is the same view for everyone. |
