Radio 101 - The one-sheet, and what does not go on it One page: who you are, where you are from, what the record is, one link, one contact. Not a life story, not a wall of press quotes, not a discography. A director reads it for ten seconds to answer one question, which is whether they can say something true about you on air. Give them that sentence and you have written their intro for them. Why one state at a time A station serves a place. Reading a whole state's doors together shows the pattern: who wants a form, who wants a disc, who names a show, who favours locals. Your sheet already sorts to your state; this is the same view for everyone. |
