🌑 june new moon - Garden series, solo series, & accepting Juneteenth offerings
tender budding things under the long light of the solstice
the format of these new moon card readings and reflections are based on a simple 3-card spread from my CHANI planner. you can expect my own brief reflections, updates on what I'll be up to between this new moon and the next, and an invitation to share back anything that resonated with you.
note: this new moon lent itself really well to switching to more of a new moon / full moon newsletter cycle rather than a calendar month cycle, so be on the lookout for the next newsletter around the full moon!

Spots open for CC Solo 3-part Resilience Toolkit Intro
It’s been awhile since the last PWYC CC Resilience Toolkit Intro I hosted back in February. It may still be awhile before I can host another.
In the meantime, I have some availability for more flexible sliding scale 1:1 series.
July availability: 3-part Resilience Toolkit Intro for orgs / private groups
Do you have a group of folks who want to learn the Resilience Toolkit? If you already know times that everyone can show up, I can work with your capacity and desired session frequency to host a private intro series for your work team, your community garden pals, your D&D group, your family—whomever!
Accepting contract work for admin / newsletter / systems transition needs
in addition to my own newsletter, I maintain the regular newsletter for my family’s bi-annual reunion, along with similar services other more formal clients ☺️ If you’ve been wanting to get away from MailChimp, ConstantContact, Gmail, etc. for your newsletter—or just want support with a new/established one, I can send over a quote for what a project / ongoing support for that looks like.
♊🌑 june new moon card pulls and reflections

⛰️𓃮 Mountain Lion (R) - 17 - Leadership
Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams & David Carlson
card summary: Balance of body, mind, & spirit in ways that represent wise and effective stewardship of those resources. Making everyone happy will almost always require lies. So tell, know, and live the truth first and foremost. If you’ve been giving away your authority, stop.
I’ve been hesitant to step into the leadership I need to fully back my new business. I’ve been resisting starting smaller. Which isn’t new. I’ve been working on it though. Start with the things you’re already craving to do. What things could use the energy of being hitched to your convictions? Which things absolutely need to be done regardless? I’ve been wanting to invite folks to a regular qi gong practice (not instructing, just watching a recording) as a way of spending time together while also having support for getting in some gentle movement more regularly. Maybe it’s time for me to ask for that business help that various friends have offered.
🍭 Whirling Rainbow - 18 - Unity/Wholeness Achieved
Sacred Path Cards by Jamie Sams
card summary: universal truths that cleanse, heal, unite, and clarify. “you need not take on the issues of others when the discord is due to their lack of unity within themselves”
“any challenges to unity are equal to your ability to overcome them”
Connect to the things that help you feel supported. Give some time and energy to the people showing up for you. What can you bring to that mutuality? Let yourself be held and supported. It’s okay to start putting down the bracing-for-impact of reaching out for help in new spaces with new people.
🌾🐿️ Prairie Dog - 47 - Retreat
Medicine Cards by Jamie Sams & David Carlson
card summary: Are you running on empty? Do you need to rest before you burn out? Have you been pushing without gaining ground? Is worry getting the best of your inner knowing? Is stress stealing your inspiration? Are you working yourself in an extractive way?
There’s no additional pressure I can put on this housing process. Let it be the numbers game that it is. Don’t run yourself more ragged over this than you need to. Find a restorative and regenerative stillness while you can. Let it be rich soil for connecting back to self and back to inspiration before the next big push of moving into a new space when it finally comes.
🎴🎴🎴 Taking in the spread as a whole
You cannot use force, domination, or barreling through to make yourself do what you need to do to tend to your business. You already know this. You are revving up your body’s systems at the starting line way before the starting pistol will be fired, and it’s burning fuel, melting your treads, and choking your system with smoke. Refocus your energy on taking internal leadership by stewarding your body’s resources more wisely—which will require more listening more closely, along with acknowledging and grieving the difference between what you thought your capacity was, and what it currently is. Especially since you’re already facing a lot of external, slow-moving challenges. Rest. The inspiration you’re searching for has no space to land if you’re numbing yourself out to push past your limits. You aren’t doing this alone; you have a robust support network to hold you, and to maybe even prefigure a reality where collaborative joy and work have a generative relationship.
Thanks for reading, wishing you moments of ritual, rest, and restoration. Happy solstice weekend!
