composting this newsletter - events in the bay area and online
Hey friends,
I have been sharing my writing on Full Power a lot, lately. It’s fun to expand on the situations I’ve encountered in a life full of self-discovery, relationship growth, and honing in on my calling.
Consequently, I haven’t really known what to do with this newsletter. Actually, I’ve only ever posted on here two times! Some of you are old colleagues who found my personal website when I created it three years ago. Others have just found me online and wanted to learn more.
I’ve related to this newsletter with a sort of paralysis, wanting to share and write and realizing that I don’t have much I want to say beyond the normal stuff:
Coaching is really fun and meaningful. I am having a blast working with artists, founders, cycle-breakers, and all kind of brilliant misfits. You are always welcome to introduce me to someone who’s wanting to fuck shit up in their life (and create something more robust and aligned).
But the real excitement and drive in my work continues to rotate around events, gatherings, community building, and workshops. So, for now, I will experiment with focusing this newsletter on the kinds of transformational containers that I find myself in on a regular basis.

Since — like much of me — this is a work in progress, there’s a lot I don’t know about what will make this work. How often to share, what ratio of IRL vs. online, etc. If you feel called, your feedback will really help me refine the experience of being here :)

Public Conversation with Aerin Dunford
Friday, August 8th | 9-1030am PT | Online
Public Conversations are very simple:
1. There is a zoom
2. There are hosts (Aerin & me)
3. We all have a conversation
Aerin is someone with whom I can both get down to business and hold the state of the world, and also drop into grief, disappointment, and all other kinds of arresting feelings. We can be both oriented and disoriented together.
Lately Aerin and I have been feeling disappointment a lot. At each other, at the world, at ourselves. Maybe we’ll explore this. Maybe we’ll go somewhere else. Come find out!

Interplay - play meets connection meets movement

Interplay is one of my favorite things. I’m actually spending two weeks in Chicago in August to do some intensive training in it. If you’re free, I highly recommend coming through and drinking from the well with us.
The Creative Field - playing with aliveness, & emergence, and transformation
Saturday, August 30th | 2-530pm PT | Berkeley
This is a one-off event previewing the larger Creative Field course that I am hosting in September and October. We did one of these already and it was a big release of energy!
This is the thing I am simultaneously most excited and and terrified about. It is at my edge as a facilitator and instigator. It is probably the most bizarre thing I have ever hosted. For the right person, it’s likely candy. See you there :)
