I am amazed you wrote it in 44 minutes, but I also find that sometimes typing a stream of conscious often yields some of the best results. My uncle passed recently, and I was honored to be asked to speak at his funeral. I learned that deeply exploring these questions about people and who they were and what they meant to us is so important. And the how exactly they died is a huge part of finding the closure and fitting it all into your own narrative. Even if it’s not something you can expect to be offered. Less stigma around death would benefit us all.
