My Ramblings This Week
I gave a farewell talk at my company last week. On the one hand, I needed closure for myself. On the other hand, I wanted to share a message: make friends.
For a long time, I thought making friends at work was unprofessional. I mean, I didn't avoid it at all costs: I actually met some good buddies in the office. But I was worried about contaminating work and private life.
It turns out I was wrong (as usual). In fact, I was way more engaged at work before many friends decided to embark on new adventures: we hacked, laughed, shared our vulnerabilities, and kicked asses together.
