It’s been two weeks since Reproof, our writing app for rewriting, revising, and perfecting your writing, launched. How has it worked for you so far? Have you written anything interesting in Reproof, or found a unique way to use it in your work?

Thanks to feedback, we’ve already fixed some dark mode issues, tweaked a handful of small things in the editor, and got PC-style delete working across paragraphs. And we added a new Reproof Sharing feature to publish your writing directly from Reproof—complete with paragraph versions, if you’d like.

New to Reproof: Sharing

Reproof, today, is single-player, a space for you to write and rewrite your ideas until they’re perfect. Collaboration and more publishing features are coming, but first, we added a quick way to share essays directly from Reproof, complete with paragraph versions for alternate takes, if you want.

Reproof Sharing is tucked away in the Document sidebar on the right of every document. You can share docs privately with a password, or publicly with a link. You can include paragraph versions, or hide them, your call. And you can unpublish a document from your settings anytime if needed.

Here’s an example of an article I wrote in Reproof recently, complete with some of the paragraph versions I wrestled with before settling on the final version.

The next time you’re writing something and want to share it, open the right sidebar, click the Document tab, and share. It’s the quickest way to go from idea to published piece on Reproof.
