Anthropic put a Chromium browser inside the Claude Cowork desktop app on August 26. Claude navigates, fills forms, and clicks in its own isolated window - no Chrome extension and no access to your tabs or saved passwords. GitHub Copilot's Global Model Policy hit GA
GitHub began enforcing the org-level policy for Copilot Business and Enterprise on August 26. Models an admin never explicitly configured now inherit the org default, and open-weight models like DeepSeek and Kimi K2 stay off unless you switch them on.
