The Clown Courier #2 Hello from Mumbai
Hello,
Before we begin, I have one tiny favour to ask.
I’m starting to teach in more places around the world, and I’m trying to figure out where all the clowns are hiding.
🎪 Join The Art of Being Bad waiting list
Be the first to hear when workshops come to your city.
It’s the first small step towards building a community around the workshops, longer training programmes and other strange clown things I’m planning.
And wherever you’re based, you’re welcome.

❄️ Blizzard is still changing❄️
In a few days I'll be taking Blizzard to the Edinburgh Fringe.
I know many of you found me through Furiozo, and Blizzard is... something different.
Sometimes that scares me.
But I also think that's the point.
I don't want to make the same show twice.
I'm hoping it'll be fun.
For you.
And for me :).
Before Melbourne I spent a week working on it with Aitor Basauri. Then I came back... and we changed it again. Some people would call it ADHD. I call it keeping the show alive. That's what excites me about this year's Fringe. I don't have to arrive with a finished product. I get to arrive with curiosity.
I think Edinburgh is the last chapter of that journey before the official premiere.
Or maybe it isn't.
We'll see.
If you're in Edinburgh, I'd love you to come and be part of that process.

🇮🇳 Greetings from Mumbai
I'm writing this from Ranipur Theater in Mumbai.
Every time I come here I'm reminded that clown speaks a language much bigger than words.
I'm here performing Furiozo, and in a few days I'll be packing my suitcase again and heading straight to Edinburgh.
Sometimes I think this life is a little ridiculous.
One week I'm in Mumbai.
Another in Ukraine.
Next week I'm in Scotland throwing fake snow at strangers.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
❤️ A personal clown note
The world feels noisy lately.
Everyone wants us to have stronger opinions. To stay inside our own bubble. To be afraid of each other and of what's coming next.
I've been thinking a lot about optimism.
Not because I think everything will be fine.
But because I don't want fear to decide who I become.
For me, staying optimistic is one of the most radical acts of rebellion.
I hope we keep finding reasons to laugh together.
Whatever you're doing...
Keep going.
Much love,
Piotr

🎙️ One more thing...
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of talking with Michał Matus from Polskie Radio Trójka about clowning, travelling and making theatre.
If you speak Polish, you can listen to it here:
