Hello lovely students!

A midsummer postcard for you all.

I am slowly beginning to wake from my summertime slumbers and warm the fingers up ahead of catch-up lessons, which will be starting this weekend.

If you’re still interested in booking a catch-up lesson, there’s still space dotted across the week, so let me know in good time and I’ll drop you in.

A quick note: some of you might receive invoices extra early, well ahead of the lesson date. This is due to the booking system, which has some technical features that I don’t always remember to toggle off when I should. If you receive one, please check the dates on it first. Obviously, please do not pay me until the day!

In other news, I’ve been doing a huge amount of reading and also writing, mostly not about music for a change. That said, folk and classical has been on heavy rotation on the stereo, two genres I seem to gravitate towards more and more as I get older.

I’ll also be starting my first instalment of training with Musica di Circlo in a few weeks. I’ll probably send out a separate blog post about that.
