My album is out today.
I’m currently sitting at Space Academy waiting for our soundcheck for my album release show this evening. By the time this arrives in your inboxes tomorrow morning, my album will be out in the world (and I will be enjoying a much needed lie-in).
Right now, I am nervous. Despite performing heaps, I still get very nervous before shows! For me, the stage is one of the safest places in the world. But until I step out on it, I tend to get this overwhelming mixture of excitement and dang nerves. It doesn’t feel great, but I would be more concerned if I felt nothing! Feeling something means I care. If you got tickets - thanks for coming! I hope you had a great time.
I had planned on saying a lot more, but throughout this process of trying to write this, I’ve drawn a solid blank. The nerves have got me! So for now I’ll say:
My album is out today.
