AUDITION NOTICE
Murder Café, the Hudson Valley’s premier comedy murder mystery entertainment company is looking for actors for its busy 2026 season. Now in its 28th year, Murder Café performs an average of 60 shows a year at a variety of venues.
We are seeking male and female actors 21+ who can play strong comic characters – without a fourth wall in a dinner theater setting. Our shows are scripted but allow for audience interaction and Improvisation. Actors must have reliable transportation although we have carpooling opportunities for most shows.
We are about to cast our summer show, The Last Laugh, a show that takes place in a comedy club and has six strong characters.
We work fast. There are usually six rehearsals for our productions.
Actors are guaranteed a stipend of $75 (In some cases it is more.) for each performance and dinner is included.
