Hi, all! Without further ado, here’s what I’ve got for you this week:

#1 All good things must come to an end, but the legacy of this one will live on: The Social Media Collective Comes to a Close

#2 I love it when metaphors are taken seriously, and I’m always on the lookout for new workshop formats. No wonder, then, that I enjoyed reading AI is ‘Magic’, a write-up about a systems-thinking and speculative fiction workshop on alternative AI ethics by Ami Mehta.

#3 I got to spent Friday night at Stockholm City Hall, at our university’s Inauguration of new professors and conferment of doctoral degrees. The daily grind in academia is as mundane as it gets, but the festivities are something else! (You can see me on stage at about 36 minutes into the recording.)

#4 Short novels are often the best novels. I warmly recommend Transcription by Ben Lerner.
