week #6 the last hurrah

hello lovely party groupies,

we're not coming with much new news this week. we're grinding on our demos (thanks to fran we'll be done this weekend) and head into the studio in 9 DAYS. 9 DAYS. 9 DAYS. pray 4 us

and of course, we hit knitting factory with the iconic nyc rockers dead tooth in 3 weeks. come rock with us. it's been a while.

"the last hurrah" so to speak was this weekend.

1. on thursday: fran and i saw one of our favorites, black country, new road at knockdown center in queens and it had one of the best sound that we have ever heard.
2. on friday: fran, joey, and i hit the den in bushwick, an epic little DIY spot which does not even have an online presence (true DIY) hosted by our pal shawn who manages to put together incredible shows seemingly magically. this weekend featured powerviolets and our pals dogs on shady lane.
3. on saturday: fran played with bestie gemma laurence at heaven can wait, an amazing show so honest and emotional we all shed tears.

now we rest and prepare. 9 DAYS 9 DAYS 9 DAYS
