week #2: penultimate summer week. album show in 5 DAYS

hello partygroupies!!

what a week it has been. we played a weekender - roof top party in bushwick saturday and union pool on sunday. see our proof. we swear we're not liars. and i still have not figured out how to embed photos and videos so yes i did just link to the instagram post.

but the grind never stops. in fact this week may be our biggest one yet. the best way to end the summer.

why is this week the most partygirl week of all of summer 2023?

album release show this friday. august 25. doors 7, music at 8. we will debut our album at 46 barrow st in manhattan. we will play all 12 songs front to back. we will reveal the album name and the tracklist. we may even have lyric booklets. bring your own drink. its going to be crazy. we really hope all yall can make it.

and yes! we are still fundraising for our album. we are so grateful for each and every donation that you all have contributed. thank you so much again, we wouldn't be able to do any of this without you.

and again, yes it's august and people leave the city (it happens from time to time). but don't worry! we always have our other upcoming shows

saturday september 9 - the broadway, bushwick

sunday september 10 - arlene's, manhattan

the party blog

i (pag) had the absolute pleasure of having one of the best fancier meals i have had in nyc last sunday, celebrating my dear friend (and partygirl's social media/digital consultant) julia's birthday. we went to singapura , ate and drank lots, and celebrated julia's absolute greatness and spiritual force.

the rock shows we didn't play that we attended included the epic nyc rock n roll of skorts and moxie pocket at bushwick's alphaville on friday.

i also - laughed my ass off watching dick the 1999 movie whose premise is: what if deep throat (of watergate fame) was two teenage girls?

after demo-ing harmonies with fran and claire, revisited queen's 1975 masterpiece, a night at the opera

visited the rubin museum for the first time ever and, psa, their 'pay what you wish late night' events do actually have a nice selection of craft beer, wine, and cocktails

this week, we're demo-ing. we're rehearsing. and we're partying. see you friday.

xoxo, partygirl
