Things of the Year
WOWOW what a year we’ve had, thanks to all of you. words truly cannot express our gratitude for what we are ableto do this year ❤️

WHICH included the release of our debut full length project (in two parts!) ‘I’m so charming, I forgot who I was’, a magical southeast tour with Rat Palace (stream Look My Way and Toy Soldier) and Basically Nancy (stream Misery and Wounds) two music videos by Carina Allen and Sydney Tate, and beautiful shows throughout NYC including our two biggest yet - headlining the Sultan Room (check out Tony Soprano, desirable, or birdspotting if you missed it) & opening for Pinc Louds at (le) Poisson Rouge (despite me (Pag) getting like, the stomach flu/food poisoning so wretchedly bad the 12 hours before sound check at LPR :P) … we also wanted to share our other favorite things of the year below :))))

AOTY: #1 lux by rosalía #2 8 tips for catastrophe living by asher white
SOTY: #1 la yugular by rosalía #2 spiders by lola young
when i heard both of these for the first time i broke down and sobbed. they awakened vulnerability and belief i thought i had lost… they have that nameless thing that’s worth searching for
something that changed my life: my camper flats. prior to them i didn’t own flat shoes so having a sensible flat has changed the game for my hip & back pain
fran:

AOTY Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party – Hayley Williams
SOTY Parachute – Hayley Williams
Did anyone really think I would choose anything else for my AOTY?

jonathan:

AOTY: MYT - Moses Yoofee Trio

AOTY- The Way I Feel by Nikki Giovanni
Nikki Giovanni is a remarkable artist, poet, and activist who voice has touched me deeply. With her passing this past year, this quickly rose to one of my top albums. The lyricism is fucking incredible.
something that changed my life: the word “diva” has changed my vocabulary in 2025 and finds it’s way into every sentence i say
andrew:

My AOTY is Radiodread by Easy Star All Stars. It’s a reggae cover album of OK Computer that I discovered in college but randomly got reobsessed with this year.
And my life changing thing was getting married lol

thank you thank you thank you 🫶🏼 2026 will bring more music, more videos, more tours, more parties and more feeling 🤩 we love you all ❤️
