In February 2027, IGCA in Anchorage will display a group exhibition of analog collage. The title: Cold Cuts. The theme: winter. I am co-curating the show with Karinna Gomez. Submissions are open to anyone anywhere, and the deadline is December 11, 2026. That’s just under 2 months away, so grab your scissors now! If someone else you know might be interested in submitting, please share.

Last year (or maybe the year before?) I sent out some papercut/collage skull postcards to folks. I was hoping to do something like that again this year, but Halloween is already a couple weeks away and I have enough self-awareness to know that I should give up on that idea. Instead, I am going to send out Winter Solstice postcards (snowy skulls??), which, incidentally, aligns with the aforementioned Winter collage show, but, more importantly, gives me a lot more time. If you want one, send me your mailing address.
