Ovaettr Art Newsletter | March 2025
NEW AWARD! Zine workshop, Spring events, Shop Updates and more!

Hi everyone! It’s March, and Spring is galloping towards us as the weather begins to warm up where I am in North Texas. I have a lot of cool updates in store for y’all this month!
Before diving in, here’s the livestream of the eagles taking care of their eaglets in Big Bear Valley of CA for mental health purposes.
NOW…one large announcement pertaining to this newsletter itself is…
Separating The Newsletter: Art and Activism
For a while I have enjoyed putting some ‘calls to action’ at the end of each newsletter, but as things have progressed to nightmarish levels of fascism in our country the USA I have felt the need to speak more and share more that can help the world. Also, the newsletter itself was just becoming TOO LONG to be one thing! From here on out, I will be sending 2 newsletters a month - the regular Ovaettr Art Newsletter for my artist career, and in addition an Activism newsletter with many shared links, events, and ways you can engage with community. Since my activism is integral to my art, I will be sending both newsletters to everyone on the list. Also, cuz I cannot afford the silly subscription to Buttondown to have two separate newsletters…it’s $29 a month, no thank you lol!!
SO…I tThank you for supporting not only my art work but also my humanity and the fight for the rights that we all deserve!!
The secondary newsletter will be titled something inspired by Susan Stryker’s amazing work in ‘My Words to Victor Frankenstein’;
DIVINE PORTENT: AN ACTIVIST NEWSLETTER

Monthly Rewards Updated on Patreon + New Digital Zine Library

My Patreon is also another primary avenue of supporting my work that I would love to grow and focus on this year. I now have access to a Black + White Printer at home, where I can print 8.5” x 11” prints or smaller, zines, as well as my own stickers on white sticker paper and holographic sticker paper cutting them myself. I also have opened up access to digital versions + printable files for my entire zine library at the $5+ tier level on my Patreon too. Your support monthly makes it possible for me to continue being an artist full-time! Thank you!
