Ovaettr AKA Orion Fern (they/he) is a two time award-winning multidisciplinary artist and activist based in and vending throughout North Texas. His work focuses on bringing illustration, motion graphic design, zines, and comics into the world using both traditional and digital mediums.

More About Orion:
Artist of ‘The Fox Who Became A Girl,’ an all ages trans and queer fairy tale written by beloved friend Chloe Bear. The comic was supported by The Greater Denton Arts Council with the awarding of a grant that funded the printing of the first edition in 2024. The story has won a second award since February 2025 from The Comics Advocacy Group covering the second edition print run anticipated for Spring 2025. The comic is being printed by KENESS and was originally launched with assistance from The Cartoonist Co-op.
