This newsletter is very late so I’m making it count for both December and January. Thanks for understanding! I hope everyone’s holidays have been great as we head into the NEW YEAR! Wow! First things first: TinyLetter is closing down because it was bought by MailChimp, and I have shifted over to a free MailChimp account. If you were currently subscribed I transferred you over to the new platform. You will continue to receive newsletters from me here! Vending Is Over for 2023, Returning March 2024🎪
I wanted to thank everyone for stopping by my vendor booth at various events in Denton, TX over the course of 2023. I had a blast with my FIRST YEAR of vending completed! Wow! I learned a LOT this year and I’m ready for a state of dormancy where I can focus on my work and preparations for next year. See you in March 2024 for my return to vending in Denton!
Studio Upgrades!! ✨✨✨
Shout out to my amazing Mom who invested in these awesome items for Christmas 2023! These are major upgrades for my studio environment, making it possible for me to construct zines at home no matter the size of the zine! I can now construct my own 8.5” x 5.5” zines or larger. What a treat!! I’m so excited to get to use all of these items. So many creative doors have opened! Woohoo! Here’s to making more zines in 2024! THANK YOU to my biggest supporter: my Mom! <3
College Reunion 12-16-23 for The Art Institute of Dallas Alumni (Animation Department)🎓
On the 16th I was lucky enough to take part in my college’s reunion! I attended the Art Institute of Dallas in the Graphic Design department originally but 2 years in I decided to change to the Animation Department and never looked back. I graduated June of 2022! These amazing people helped me become the animation artist I am today, including professors and fellow students who taught me so much. I am grateful to have been able to be in their presence yet again! It felt just like old times. 😊 Thanks be to them!

Helping Palestinians …🇵🇸
- Choose as many things as you can possibly do (calling, e-mailing, protesting, making art, organizing, etc.) using the Stop Gaza Genocide Action Toolkit and please try to do them daily. This is an urgent matter of genocide, and Palestinians need our help.
- Download Free Books from Palestinian authors to learn from Verso Books. Share with others!
- Use free postcards by artist Jess Fink to mail your representatives to demand a permanent ceasefire NOW.
- Take part in reoccurring ‘Shut It Down For Palestine’ days at and commit to things like educating yourself and your community, amplifying Palestinian voices, and more.
- Download and customize your own DIY Zine for Palestine & Gaza for your locality, print them, and spread them amongst your community! Provided by the Black Zine Archive @blackzinearchive on Instagram.
- Donate an E-Sim Card for a Gaza citizen using the instructions at the Cartoonists Co-op, and qualify for free art to match your donations.
- For Denton TX locals, you can request to pick up some free ‘Queers For A Free Palestine’ posters from Spiderweb Salon. Message their Instagram for more information on how to pick some up to put up in your neighborhood.

- Join the Denton Regenerative Gardeners group if you are interested in helping maintain more seed banks in the city and want to grow native plants this upcoming garden season.
- Check out the already-established seed bank at the Emily Fowler Central Library at 502 Oakland St. Donate seeds if you plan on taking any. It’s a seed swap!
- Consider making a donation of books or zines to a local Little Free Library using their maps tool. Denton has plenty of them in need of active donors! I love donating LGBTQ+ educational material and my zines to them.
- Elevated Grounds on University Dr. is open for their final days til Friday December 29th. Consider stopping by to support them and say goodbye.
- If you are looking for a wonderful non-profit to support, Denton Basic Services does a lot to aid the houseless community and low-income individuals who need help in our city. Donating to them would help fill the gaps in where the City is unable to or won’t help.
- Contact Denton City Council and make a complaint or comment about their removal of one of the most well-used water coolers in Quakertown Park. There are no plans to develop water fountains, but they still removed it anyways, leaving park-goers parched. Demand they do their job and move forward with the water fountain project proposed by The Denton Basic Services Center.
