Trigify in 5 minutes
Issue #11 - Watch what your ICP posts, comments on, and likes — then show up in their inbox with something relevant.
What it is
Trigify is a sales intelligence platform that helps revenue teams identify buying intent through real-time social signals. It monitors relevant conversations and triggers alerts when prospects show interest, helping teams prioritize outreach. With automated signal tracking and customizable workflows, it reduces manual lead research and lets reps engage at the right moment with the right context. The bluntest description: it watches what people do on LinkedIn and other platforms so you don't have to, then fires a workflow when something worth reacting to happens.
Where it sits in the stack
Trigify's core value is a signal layer — it tells you when to reach out, rather than who to reach out to. That puts it squarely in the signals/intent layer, upstream of your sequencing tool. It takes what Sprout or Brandwatch would show you as an aggregate, resolves it to named humans, enriches and scores, then pushes to the tools you already pay for: HubSpot or Salesforce for nurture, Slack for alerting, Clay for further enrichment, and your outbound sequencer for the warm handoff.
In practice, most sales teams using Trigify also use a database like Apollo or ZoomInfo for contact data — the tools are largely complementary rather than competitive.
Three workflows people actually run
1. Competitor-engagement trigger → personalized cold sequence
Trigify's core differentiator is social signal depth, specifically around LinkedIn activity. When a tracked prospect posts content about a relevant topic, likes a competitor post, or shares something in your category, Trigify surfaces that as a buying signal alert. The workflow: (1) Set up a keyword search or competitor profile monitor in Trigify. (2) When a match fires, Trigify enriches the person — pulling verified contact details via its data provider waterfall. (3) The enriched record gets pushed to Clay for any additional waterfall enrichment or persona scoring. (4) When Trigify detects engagement that matches your signal criteria, it sends that identified lead into Instantly (or your sequencer of choice), which can enrich the lead further and add it to a campaign automatically — enabling outreach exactly when the signal occurred. This moves teams away from list-based sending toward signal-driven outbound execution.
2. Thought leader audience → evergreen ICP list
Thought Leader Discovery identifies influential voices in specific industries and tracks their followers' engagement. In practice: (1) Identify 5–10 LinkedIn thought leaders whose audience matches your ICP. (2) Drop their profile URLs into Trigify — no LinkedIn login required, no scraping bots. Trigify simply requires the URL of a LinkedIn profile. No login, no scraping bots, and no browser automation are needed, which protects user accounts from suspension while still capturing real-time engagement data. (3) Anyone who comments or engages with those posts gets surfaced as a lead. (4) Apply ICP filters (title, company size, geo), push the filtered list to HubSpot or Salesforce as a contact record. (5) Reps pick up the queue each morning — the daily digest workflow works well once tuned: reps review alerts each morning, identify the 2–3 most relevant signals, and prioritize outreach accordingly.
3. Job-change + new-role signal → "congrats" outbound
Trigify monitors a wide range of real-time signals including leadership transitions and social activity , and role changes are one of the clearest buying signals in B2B — new title, new budget, often new vendor evaluation. Workflow: (1) Set up a custom sales trigger for new role changes. Teams receive instant alerts when these triggers are activated. (2) Trigify pushes the alert via webhook into a Clay table. (3) Clay runs additional enrichment (company headcount, tech stack, funding stage) to confirm ICP fit. (4) If it passes the filter, the record flows into a Smartlead or Instantly sequence with a congratulatory opener referencing the new role. (5) Trigify surfaces the pattern automatically and routes an alert to the appropriate rep, triggering a workflow in HubSpot, Salesforce, or Slack without manual monitoring. No VA army required.
What it costs
Trigify pricing starts from $40/month, with a 14-day free trial and one credit system across plans.
As of May 2026, the tiers are: PAYG at $0.012 per credit, Essential at $149/month, Growth at $270/month, Scale at $549/month, and Enterprise with custom pricing.
Essential includes 15,000 credits/month, Growth includes 40,000 credits/month, and Scale includes 100,000 credits/month (all billed monthly).
Trigify is primarily credit-based. Users are different from credits. Social account seats, where available, are a separate concept used for connected social accounts. Read that carefully — you're not buying seats, you're buying a consumption bucket, and those three things are tracked separately.
The gotchas:
- Credits power signals, enrichments, engagement, and Jarvis (AI co-pilot) runs. Every action burns the same bucket. Run heavy enrichment workflows alongside signal monitoring and you'll chew through credits faster than you'd expect.
- No public credit consumption table means you can't model costs before signing up. Get this information in writing during your trial before committing to a plan.
- PAYG caps social engagement at 50 per post, so if you're monitoring a high-volume thought leader, you'll hit that ceiling.
- API access is included in Scale and Enterprise plans only. If you want to plug Trigify into a custom agent workflow via their REST API or MCP, budget for Scale ($549/month) minimum.

Who it's for (and who should skip it)
Use it if: Trigify is particularly well-suited for SDR teams, growth-stage B2B companies, and RevOps professionals who want to build more signal-driven outbound sequences. It pays off fastest if your ICP is active on LinkedIn and your team already has a clean outbound process — the signals are only as useful as the sequences they feed.
Skip it if: Trigify is not a complete lead database, so teams still need other tools for contact enrichment and outbound execution. The platform works best when your team already has a clear outbound process and ICP setup. Without that, the signals become noisy. Also worth noting: there's no native integration with outreach tools like Outreach.io or Salesloft, which means reps have to manually bridge the gap between a Trigify alert and actually sending a sequence. If your team isn't going to invest the time to tune keyword filters in the first few weeks, this becomes an expensive dashboard that nobody checks.
