We are Open Agor
We noted at our last meeting that we would focus on stating our objective and how we wish to achieve it.
Clare has suggested:
OPEN (Agor) Is a group for exploring and listening to thoughts and ideas around Spirituality.
What does this mean? Well we are still working this out, but so far thoughts are around deeper connections, to the natural world, to each other and perhaps to a greater being.
Everyone is welcome to this journey of exploration, all faiths or none, those who feel hurt or confused by life; or are simply curious.
We hope to share a mixture of discussion and activities ( walking, drums, art?) Most importantly a drink, slice of cake and a warm welcome.
Charles had also put some thoughts down but after an early viewing of Clare's wrote
This is mine re-written after seeing Clare’s. I like the informality of Clare’s, though, the friendliness.
AGOR is a meeting space for everyone and anyone interested in spirituality.
A space for listening to different views with equality, respect and openness.
A space for sharing, for building relationships.
A space for discovering and exploring the best of life.
A space favouring people on the margins.

It will decide
what gets you out of bed in the morning
What you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, who you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you
with joy and gratitude.Fall in love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything.
